Sub: Unaccounted black money of more than Rs. 500 crores financed by different money lenders to the taximen.

Respected Sir,

We would like to draw your attention that more than Rs. 5.00 crores unaccounted black money financed to taximen of Mumbai as well as other tourist taxis. This black money is financed by end numbers of money lenders and most of these are working as a mafia in the Mumbai city.

We are sorry to say that till today no single authority has been taken any action against these culprits of the society who are exploited the taximen at large since more than 3 decades.

These money lenders are very powerful and some are operating from the premises of holy Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Dadar (E), Mumbai.

Now the taximen are very frustrated from their cheating, extortion, black mailing, exploiting and tactics, we are forced to stage a Halla Bol movement under the command of our Mumbai Taximen Sangathan.

We request you to please take immediate necessary action against all the money lenders who are involved in this racket since three decades without any further delay in the interest of natural justice of state.

We also request you to please recover all the registration certificate and blank papers of the vehicles / taxis from these money lenders / credit c-operative societies and hope you will take this issue seriously in the interest of state.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,
For Mumbai Taximen Sangathan

General Secretary
