Problems facing by the taximen in the parking of International and domestic Airports.

Subject: Problems facing by the taximen in the parking of International and domestic Airports.

Dear Sir,

We would like to draw your attention that our members / taximen are facing following problems on both the airports and after repeated requests, your office was failed to resolve the problems of the taximen.

A.    INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

a.      The parking area of the International Airport is not enough space to park taxis due to that the taximen are forced to park their vehicle on the road.

b.     The taximen require at least parking area that is for parking of another 500 taxis, the space is already available with the parking area, and you have to just shift the fence.

c.      There is no toilet / water and other basic facilities in the cool cab parking area, which require on urgent basis.

d.     There is fresh & clean drinking water problem.

e.      In the prepaid counter there is nothing mentioned on the voucher about the black & yellow and cool cab service? We request you to please mention the rate difference between the cool cabs & black & yellow cabs at the said prepaid booth.

f.       The parking area of cool cab / black & yellow cabs provided by your office is near to Leela Hotel and there is no proper canteen facility available.   Please provide the same at the earliest or our Sangathan is capable to provide the food on the subsidize rate if you permit our Sangathan or you may provide the food on subsidize rate.

g.      There is no proper and daily cleaning in an around the parking area.

We would also like to draw your attention that end numbers of so-called driver’s agents are running a travel mafia in the international airport and they are running their business from the ground level of the parking area.

B.    DOMESTIC AIRPORT

a.      There is no drinking water facility and no shelter shed in the parking area of cool cab as well as black & yellow.

We request you to please consider our genuine & legitimate problems and resolve the same within next 2 weeks.
