Sub: Notice for 3 hour CHAKKA JAM on 23/5/2011 at the domestic airport between 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm and on the same day 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm at international airport

Dear Sir,

With reference to our earlier letters and personal meeting regarding the problems facing by taximen/auto rickshaw men at the domestic and international airport.

You had assured us that you are going to fulfill the legitimate demands of taximen/auto rickshaw men but till today nothing has happened. It is pertinent to note that we had called off our two hour airport Chakka Jam / agitation before the MIAL office because of your assurance.

It is further pertinent to note that instead of resolving the legitimate demands of taximen / auto rickshaw men at domestic as well as international airport you and your GM – Corporate Mr. Srinivasan are indulging with unsocial activities and busy in meeting with so-called union leaders / criminals to suppress our voice.  You both had threatened us that if we are again going to raise the demands of the taximen / auto rickshaw men then our sangathan office bearers are behind the bars because the Asst. Commissioner of Police, Airport is on their pay-roll and we had already intimated about the same threats to concerned authority.

Now you are again indulge to provoke taximen / auto rickshaw men at the international as well as domestic airport parking area and stop the entire canteen and other facilities to agitate the taximen and your so called union leaders/criminals are demanding the extortion money or hafta from the canteen or other service providers.

It is further pertinent to note that one so-called leader  Munna Mishra, and his associates Sada Pawle & Laxman Gorde are taking extortion money / hafta from them on behalf of you and your GM-Corporate.

We would further like to draw your attention that due to your above act there is a possibility of clash between the groups of taximen. If anything will happen at the airport, both of you are liable for the same, which please note.

We also inform you that, if you or your office is not going to fulfill the legitimate demands of taximen / auto rickshaw men at the airport then our Sangathan will stage a 3 hour jam on 23/5/2011 at the domestic airport between 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm and on the same day 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm at international airport, which please note.

Copy of this letter is forwarding to the concerned authorities for their information and necessary action.
