Ref: Your outward letter No. 4075 dated 2/6/2011.

Dear Mr. Patil,

With reference to the above mentioned letter, would you please let us know under what law and authority you want the information about our members of Mumbai Taximen Sangathan and our Sangathan is registered with the Registrar of Trade Union.  It is pertinent to note that our office is also not under the jurisdiction of your police station.

Mr. Patil, you had done this illegal acts after thought and the conspiracy with Mr. Srinivasan – GM (Corporate) and Mr. Chavan – DGM (landslide) just to favor so that we are unable to raise the legitimate demands of taximen / auto rickshaw men before the MIAL / GVK.

 We had already made the representation about your illegal and high handed acts just to protect the corrupt practice of MIAL / GVK to the government of Maharashtra and your top brass.  It is pertinent to note that you had also taken the help from the gang of criminals and heavy force against us to fail our CHAKKA JAM agitation.

We are decline to furnish any information about our members to you as our privacy clause and if you need any information regarding taximen or  auto rickshaw men then you are free to take information from respective RTOs or the Registrar of Trade Union.  We inform you that not to harass taximen / auto rickshaw men just to protect the MIAL / GVK at the international airport or in your jurisdiction as well as you are going to forcibly deploy the fleet taxi companies i.e. Meru / Mega Cabs / Easy Cabs etc at the international airport. You know very well that the taximen will protest against the MIAL/GVK if fleet taxi companies are allow or deploy at the international airport.

We would like to draw your attention that police have no authority to intervene in the day today activities of the trade union without any reason.   We are shocked and surprised that you are giving shelter to criminals and allowed to operate illegal tour operation viz: Sandy & Candy Travels, R.K. Travels, K.K. Travels etc. at the ground level of international airport parking.

It is further pertinent to note that due to your act, there is communal tension between two religions or two group of taximen at the airport or airport parking. If you are really concerned with the security of the international airport then you should start cleaning from your police station itself.  It is pertinent to note that tutors, cheaters & other criminals viz: Ayub @ lambu, Ricky @ Aftab Alam, Khusia, Mobin, George, Siddharth, Salim, Patel etc are operating under your shelter. They all have business cards of various hotels from where they get commission and they have also name board of the forge passengers.

Under the above mentioned facts and circumstances, the conduct of yours is dubious, illegal and no authority to intervene in the day to day affairs of the Mumbai taximen Sangathan.

We are also inform you that if the Sahar police is going to harass taximen / auto rickshaw men on the name of so called information then we are forced to lodge a protest against the Sahar Police before the office of the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai without giving any further notice to you which please note.
