Dear Sir,

We introduce ourselves as a leading Sangathan for the taximen in Mumbai in the name and style of “MUMBAI TAXIMEN SANGATHAN”. Our Sangathan is registered with the Registrar of Trade Union under the trade union act. Copy of the registration certificate is enclosed.

We would like to inform you that our Sangathan have an office of 10,000 sq. ft. in the heart of Mumbai city with the modern infrastructure with the facilities of service station for our members. We have 35 dedicated staff for the service of the taximen at large.

We would further like to draw your attention that our Sangathan have more than 2537 members. List of the life members is enclosed. We will provide RTO jobs for our members.

We would further like to draw your attention that Mumbai traffic police is also charging some fine from taximen who are violates the traffic rules and issue the LTEM after taking their original documents in their possession for further legal action.

Under the above mentioned facts and circumstances, our Mumbai Taximen Sangathan will provide the service to the taximen / members to deposit the fine on behalf of taximen with the traffic police to get back their licence or documents.  Our Sangathan is submitting the original documents with the respective RTOs for the renewal of permit, vehicle passing, replace of vehicle and other RTO related services.  

To provide the above mentioned services to our members / taximen we issue a receipt to the taximen to ply their vehicle during the completion of legal formalities because the original documents are in the custody of respective RTO / Traffic Police

Hence, we request you to please allow us to serve our members and also permit us to issue the receipt.  It is pertinent to note that our each and every receipt have hologram sticker of Mumbai Taximen Sangathan for security purpose. Xerox copy of the receipt of Mumbai Taximen Union is enclosed for your ready reference.

We request you to please allow our members to ply their vehicles for 30 days on our receipt as all the original papers or LTEM are with Mumbai Taximen Sangathan for official job in the interest of taximen at large.
