Subject: Issuance of Duplicate Permit,
Renewal & Replacement order
Dear Sir,
With reference to the applications filed by our members/ permit
holder with your office since long for the issuance of duplicate permit, renew
and for the replacement order but you are personally directed your staff not to
accept the renewal fee & replacement fee. It is pertinent to note that till
date your office is failed to issue the duplicate permit to the permit holders.
It is pertinent to note that you had also directed your staff not
to accept the applications of the permit holders related to Mumbai Gold Cabs
(P) Limited even you know very well aware that you are duty bound to accept the
same application and pass appropriate speaking order on it a per the provision
of law but sorry to say that you are not the law?
Now you are making fool the permit holders and directed them to
pay the profession tax since the permit is issue to the permit holders.
It is pertinent to note clause 8 (k) of the Fleet Taxi Scheme
2006, under the title “that as per the General condition to be observed by the
holder of the license shall pay various taxes including income, professional
& service tax.
It is also pertinent to note that till date your office is fail to
recover the due taxes from the Mumbai Gold Cabs, Smart Cabs Transportation (P)
Limited, Mumbai Taxi Company (P) Limited, Meru Cabs, Mega cabs, Easy Cabs &
and other new Arya cabs till date and after making the conspiracy with the
Fleet Taxi Operators, you all are indulge to extort the money from the poor and
illiterate Taximen, which is against the provision of law or fleet scheme etc.

Hence we request you to please issue the Duplicate Permit along
with replacement order within 48 hours, from the receipt of this
letter, failing which you are personally liable to pay the damages to the
permit holder @ Rs.1500/- per day since our members had filed the application
with your office, which you please note.
We further say that you are also liable to pay the legal
cost in the event our Sangathan approach the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay for
your illegal and arbitrary act, which you also please note.
