Subject: Illegal detention by Police Sub Inspector Mane
Of Pant Nagar Police Station.

Dear Sir,

We would like to draw your attention that, Mr. Shivshankar Jaiswar, taximen and also a member of our Mumbai Taximen Sangathan was illegal detained by your officer PSI Mane of Pant nagar police station, yesterday i.e. 14/11/2011 on the behest of one credit co-operative society.

It is pertinent to note that the goons of the co-operative society had stolen his taxi vehicle on 5th of November 2011 and they used duplicate key to open the said taxi vehicle.

It is further pertinent to note that the pant nagar police had registered the Cr. No. 378 of 2011 under section 379 of the IPC on 6th November 2011 and the same stolen property was recovered on 12th November 2011.

We would further I like to draw your attention that, our member had filed an application before the ld. Metropolitan Magistrate court at Vikhroli to return his taxi vehicle which is in the custody of pant nagar police station, it is pertinent to note that when our member demanded the copy of the recovery punchmana from the said PIS Mane but he was refuse to furnish the same and also fail to produce the said recovery punchnama before the Ld. Metropolitan Magistrate court at Vikhroli as per the mandatory provision of law / Cr. Pc.

The said PSI called our member Mr. Shiv Shankar Jaiswar at the police post at Ramabai Colony which is under the jurisdiction of pant nagar police station around 6.00pm and threaten him to withdraw the F.I.R or i will put him behind bar if u fail to withdraw the F.I.R as well as return of property application from the Ld. Court, our member was allow to go when ever secretary Mr. Kahaiya Singh intervene the matter at mid night.

Under the above mentioned fact and circumstance we request you to take immediate necessary action for the illegal detention by your said PSI Mane in the interest of natural justice failing which, we have no option but to approach the Hon’ble high court of Bombay entirely at your risk and cost which you please note.
